Growing through life’s challenges

At Pyne mental health, we believe in & encourage your capacity for strength, resilience and growth during difficult times.

Therapy is a collaborative journey of self-discovery. We offer a warm, professional approach that is interactive, direct, and conversational. Our work together creates a safe space to explore both immediate challenges and uncover deeper emotional patterns. Whether you are facing a crisis, feeling stuck in repetitive thoughts and behaviors, or seeking greater presence in your life - you have found a supportive path forward.

Our Services

individual

Individual therapy starts with an initial evaluation (60 mins) during which we will get to know each other, discuss what led you to reach out now, explore your expectations for the therapeutic process, identify specific goals, and develop a plan for achieving those goals. I am committed to helping you overcome challenges that may have felt too overwhelming to handle alone.

couples

Relationships are dynamic journeys that evolve through life’s inevitable challenges and subtle shifts. Sometimes partnerships drift apart through unintentional neglect or the gradual accumulation of unaddressed tensions. Choosing to invest in your relationship—to pause and intentionally reconnect—requires genuine courage and a profound commitment to understanding each other more deeply.

group

Therapy groups offer a supportive and dynamic space for participants to enhance well-being, build resilience, and connect with others facing similar challenges. Participants will learn to process emotions, gain new insights, and develop practical skills for managing stress, reducing anxiety and coping with other obstacles.

Meet Meredith

Meredith holds a BA from University of Virginia, an MBA from Harvard Business School and a MSW from New York University. She completed her clinical field placements at the Family Centers in Fairfield County and at New York-Presbyterian Westchester Behavioral Health. After training, she worked at Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan, CT in their Residential program and leading the Mood Disorders Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). In addition to her private practice, she continues work on a part-time basis at Silver Hill Hospital.

As a psychotherapist with over a decade of prior experience in the financial and corporate world, Meredith brings a unique perspective to her therapeutic practice. Her background in high-pressure professional environments allows her to deeply understand the challenges faced by driven individuals navigating career demands, personal growth, parenting and the complexities often involved in finding balance to be present in one’s own life.

Today, Meredith works with individuals and couples, aiming to help them live more purposeful, present and fulfilled lives.

Whether you are dealing with specific challenges or seeking deeper self-understanding, I am committed to helping you navigate your path towards well-being. Together, we can work toward creating the meaningful changes you seek in your life.
